What is PPD?
Pagan Pride Day
- The Pagan Pride Project is an international organization dedicated to the
advancement of religion and elimination of prejudice and discrimination based
on religious beliefs.
- They do this by education, activism, charity, and community Work.
- The Pagan Pride Project also sponsor the international Pagan Pride Day
(PPD), a Pagan public Equinox ritual and charity drives held every year between August and October.
The date changes from time to time but is always around the same date as before.
Who is PPNN?
Northern Nevada Pagan Pride
The Northern Nevada Pagan Pride project is more then just the pagan pride day,
it is a year round organization following the parameters of Pagan
Pride Project Inc. and is an incorporated non-profit in the State of Nevada.
We do this by:
- Education: By offering information to the non-pagan public,
and by helping the media paint a
truthful picture of what it means to be a pagan.
- Activism: By supporting the Pagan Community in the area, making it
a safe place for a Pagan to come out of the broom closet.
- Charity: Northern Nevada PPD and Pagan Pride Project international
are not for profit organizations where all funds are given back to the community.
- Community Work: As pagans we are all aware of the importance of the
earth, Northern Nevada Pagan Pride Day will dedicate its community work by
offering a safe, healthy, natural place for our children and grand children to
worship.
- Pagan Pride Day: Pagan Pride Day will be a time when pagans can
come together in a safe environment to worship the gods and to meet fellow
pagans.
What can you do at a Pagan
Pride Celebration?
- Celebrate the Autumn Equinox with the Pagan Community.
- Help your community by participating in a "share the harvest" charity
drive and other charities that we are supporting at that time.
- Meet people of all ages in all walks of life
- Learn about all kinds of Pagans and different traditions
